Hey, I don't like giving false hope if it getting replaced. But true enough it pains me to see that this is growing problem is still growing. Not dwindling. I don't blame anyone, but sometimes the BS gets to a point where it becomes too extreme.

I am sure this can't be done with ease. But hopefully they add it in the next update as this problem is constant and pretty serious at times.

 

I just don’t know why some people give a pass to Wynncraft for having this problem for this long. When other games do this, no one defends them, especially if it’s for this long. Even most indie games I’ve played don’t do this.

 

I agree with you, but Selvut explained why they can't just push hotfixes, have you seen that post?

 

I think so, but I can’t remember when. Wynncraft is the only game I’ve heard of that has this issue. Even other minecraft servers like Hypixel can don’t have this issue.

 

Yeah, Selvut said something along the lines of them not being able to push hotfixes because when they do, the map gets pushed as well, which means that they can only push out updates if the map is also ready to be pushed.
However, the thing is is that this has been a problem since Gavel's release (IF I remember correctly. It might've been gameplay update, but I'm not sure.) Gavel came out in 2015, and we're two months away from 2018.
After two years, they haven't done any sort of work to fix this bug? They could've released a quick fix for it in the gameplay update, or in the Corkus update, or in any minor patch in between?
There isn't much excuse for them not pushing a patch for this bug when it's been a problem for almost two years now. Albeit, there might be some other unknown reason why it hasn't been fixed, like maybe it's far too complicated of a problem to just resolve quickly, or maybe I'm dumb and the problem hasn't been a problem since Gavel's release. But from how long the team has had with this problem, I don't see much of an evident excuse present to why it hasn't been fixed by now.

 

They tried fixing it at one point, though it still lingered. Back then it affected both armor and accessories, today it only affects accessories. (as far as I know)
If OP was using not using SP items to make their build work then that could mean it affects armor again(?)

 

I believe it still affects armor. Still, every other game and server in existence have procedures for dealing with these bugs and they are able to push out patches without releasing content for the next update. If you can’t, then your game gets pretty crippled by lingering bugs fast.

 

Its funny how instead of taking a 3-second precaution you just keep complaining

I'm not saying the precaution is perfect or that the glitch is okay, but complaining about something over and over after it's been complained about so much already is just as stupid as the glitch's existence in the first place.

We all make mistakes, and if you have a full inventory you have to throw stuff out or go to a bank if you don’t want to throw out anything valuable. This could create a lot of back tracking. If you’re say farming and you have to log out really quick, you’ll have to reserve 8 slots to guarantee nothing will happen. This is a bit much when you’re trying to farm and you can easily forget to reserve the right number of slots. Not to mention if you’re kicked from the server for no reason, and you had a nearly full inventory, you’d be screwed.

The point is is that players shouldn't be doing this in the first place. It’s especially unforgiving to new or uninformed players, who usually don’t find out about the bug until it happens to them. The Admins are responsible for making their game, and given the circumstances, there’s no excuse why this hasn’t been fixed yet.

 

And what exactly do you think that's going to do? You think constantly yelling at somebody is gonna make them want to do something?

 

no I think they are complaining because the glitch still exists but some people are trying to provide solutions

 

Having only one person get mad at the issue makes it seem like the issue isn't that big of a deal. Having a lot of people get mad at the issue truly shows that it's an issue. Also, this isn't some person that'd respond in "you know what? I'm tired of you yelling at me to do this, so now I won't do it," this is a server whose lifeblood is the players that are on it, and having a glitch that isn't getting fixed calls for more players to get angry at it, since from the player perspective it seems like the staff isn't doing shit to solve it.

 

Im trying to start something like amadel grinding, get enough people to support this and they might change it, who knows
