You're contradicting yourself here. Loot runs are just the best way right now.

Yeah but if you're actually grinding for mythics loot runs are better.

That doesn't matter? Loot running is still the best way, loot bonus is completely unrelated to it

    TL;DR
Loot runs for most effective ways to get mythics (no need to buy a lot of fancy gear with high loot bonus)
Grinding mobs, a boring, uniform way of obtaining mythics (need to have expensive loot bonus gear)

Personally I am a seasoned grinder, all I really do is grind, but I also decided to check out Loot Runs. Coming from a grinder, it is a lot easier to get more rare equipment from Loot Chests than Mobs. This doesn't mean ignore the mobs when you Loot Run, it just means that you have a higher chance of getting Mythics (even though I have not received one) from Loot Running than grinding by a long shot. Loot Chests contains more rare things the longer they are not disturbed (AKA Opened) so Loot Runs with Loot Chests untouched will lead to quite the good amount of stuff. So coming from a Grinder, just do Loot Runs if you want to get a Mythic. It is currently the best way, not the only, but the best way so far.

Just don't ignore the Mobs when you Loot Run as they may drop Legends or Rares or Mythics. Either way, don't ignore the mobs. They might prove to be useful.

Yes sometimes Loot Bonus gear gets expensive. But that is when you do some quests or just simply find the Loot Bonus gear, then it barely leaves a dent in your wallet. The only items you may need to have to purchase is Pirate's Luck. Even then that is... kinda cheap. Jera all you need is a level 50-60 class to just do your Loot Running and boom you found one, take a higher level class to find your Diamond Dust (Seriously both of these are Rares) for a Pelier, that will take some time but you can find it. Loot Bonus gear is (somewhat) easy to get. It just requires a little bit of work. If you expect pay without work in Wynn, it wont work.
    Yep.
Exaggeration man, people just make LB gear expensive. I wont lie and say that I don't want no LE for my LB gear, but you can just earn it yourself as I have said above. But for more depth, here is what level to get the stuff, and the best places to look for it.
Pelier: Level; 40s-50s, Place; Lusuco or Nessak
Diamond Dust: Level; 90s-100, Place; Rodoroc or Sky Islands
Jera: Level; 50s-60s, Place; Jungle or Troms
Pirate's Luck: Buyable at Pirate Cove after completing a quest to wear them.
Rarity: Level; 1-5, Place; Emerald Trail or The Beginning spot or Loot Run as a level 1
Knucklebones (Only if you want the high reward high risk): Level; 90s-100, Place; Corkus is nice for Loot Running for it.
Pendant of Prosperity: Place; Literally a quest item.

Ta da, full loot bonus set!

    Have a Good Day!

To be honest, The Forgery is a more reliable helmet for loot bonus: even though it has a bit less (and an 8% difference won't be noticeable), it has better health and defenses, and besides that it's rather easy to find by looting some chests near cinfras

Yeah. You can survive a bit longer with it. I was going with full LB without using Discoverer.

Loot bonus doesn't have any effect on ID values, and neither are ID values pre-set (so that the loot bonus would've increased the chance to get a strati which could have yielded a better strati).

In all seriousness though, going off of my kill count I wouldve gotten about 2 mythics by now, I just didnt pick them up. The best bet is to just install Wynncraft Enhanced so you can see what items have dropped. Works miracles.
