Negative Life Steal?

I have -60 lifesteal on the build that I am planning to make. I have no idea how much ls drains out your health. will -60 ls actually effect me a lot?

 

Depends on how much hp do u have and what class,it activates with melee and I think warscream (thats not supposed to work).

 

It can. Each hot every 4 seconds will drain quite a bit. Unless you plan on using spells... except for Arrow Bomb and War Scream then you be screwed. However you will remain at 1HP

 

Well hopefully im not a warrior Im an archer and the build that im planning to make has about 9~10k health. So am I going to lose 60 health ever 4seconds?

 

Only if you use melee

 

If you Melee hit or Arrow Bomb. It will hurt over time.

No, it will not. Salted explained this on the forums, it's a % chance to deal 60 damage to you (because negative ls) depending on attack tier. It changes per attack tier to always hit once every 4 seconds (on average). It's not like poison where it deals 1/3rd of your poison damage per second.

EDIT: -60 is manageable for most builds, unless you're really low level.

 

Ok then Im going to change my question if I have like +200ls can I regen like 10k health with bomb arrow in a few seconds?

So even if I spam melee and bomb arrow my health wont drop to 1?

 

I've used Bomb Arrow and man the LS was nice. But it's better with Explosion as it does quite a bit.

 

I don't know how life steal affects arrow bomb, but I do know that 10k health in a few seconds isn't gonna happen. Even apoc + war scream shouldn't be able to do that. I think.

 

If the actual arrow entity hits a mob it can trigger life steal as I recall, so it's useless
It might have changed since I last cared enough to play archer though
