if you're talking about that thread that I was in, then let me assure you, that wasn't a flame war. It's all about perception and mods percive passionate arguments a flame war.

 

I clearly remember names being thrown

 

So I'm supposed to use 2 knives? That's way too much effort! And what if you have a knife for let's say peanutbutter and one for jam and nobody eats peanutbutter? Then you'll have unneeded dishes and you've wasted a little bit of peanutbutter!

 

If the thread hadn't been deleted we can go check it out and discuss it.

 

It's really mainly butter for me because you then have that annoying streak of red in the butter

 

But then you just avoid the red or use it when you put jam on your bread.

 

But what if it's right in the middle of the butter, then you have to carefully go around it until you run out of butter that hasn't got jam on it

 

Then just use jam so it's gone.

We've been best friends to each other since kindergarten. Recently though, I noticed that we've been growing more and more distant over the past few months. I hope this doesn't continue that way.

My best friend has been in a relationship with her boyfriend for over a year as of recently. I want to make one thing clear, which is that he is the best boyfriend she has had in the past few years. He can be stupid sometimes, sure, but is overall a great person. I'm glad she has him, quite some shit has happened to her from which she took some damage to her mental health I guess (not that it's diagnosed, but she has changed).

You probably are aware of neckbeards? Those kind of people who sit at home, maybe browse reddit, are obsessed with their waifus, have really messy beards, are usually a little bit massive, and state that they'd be a great boyfriend, but nobody is giving them a chance because all the girls only go for the 'assholes' and wish that somebody would for once look past their looks and accept them for what they are. I was a little bit that kind of person. I've had to realize that if I was her boyfriend that I would only screw her up more. I wouldn't be a good boyfriend, not to her, and to nobody else. No matter if I care about my love-life or not, I wouldn't have one either way.

My mom is depressed and has anxiety. Undiagnosed, of course. At least I know I'm her son.
My brother has diagnosed autism and adhd/add and is a little bit massive.
My sister is a crybaby just like her mom. My littlest sister gets injured all the time. A few months ago, for example, she ran into the kitchen to get the toast which jumped out of the toaster while wearing sandals that are too big for her. On the way to the kitchen she tripeed and fell against the edge of a corner which cut the flesh on her forehead to the skull. Within the 5 seconds that it took her to trip, fall, feel the pain, start screaming, me rushing to her, her head and the floor she was laying on was full of blood. Long story short: now she has a pink barely noticable ~4.5 inch scar.
And I'm the oldest of the four, meaning I'm the responsible one when mother is gone.
Dad moved out a few years back. We still sleepover at his place from time to time. *sigh*

Winter is the worst season. I live in London so I only get enough snow to actually do anything with 1 every 5 years or so, it's cold, the weather's either grey and overcast, raining or snowing, only the snowflakes melt as soon as they touch the ground and just form puddles, I'm sick and I already have to deal with the everywhere screaming Christmas at me 2 months early. Winter sucks
