Tool Wynncraft Android App - Beta (unofficial)

The Backstory
Over the past week or so I decided to try and make something that uses the Wynncraft Public API, so after some thinking I decided on an App. In its current form the app only works as a standard Item Guide but I plan to add more to it in the future (open to suggestions).
I have finally reached a point where I think the app is in a decent state to allow people to see it, there are many known bugs and there will be crashes but it is for the most part a working app.

How to Install:
1.On you android phone go to: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B55XDGEysaZgX21EaUw5aWxfb2s
2. Click Download and wait for the file to finish downloading, then open the file.
2.5. If when you open the file a pop-up appears click settings and then toggle the switch for "Unknown Sources".
3. Click Install
4. Open the app!

Spoiler: Known Issues

- Some Leather Armour Colours not Displaying Correctly (This is due to a mismatch of colour code formats)
- Arrow on the Search Page is Incorrect (This is caused by me having more things to worry about than an arrow)

 

Seems very neat! Good job.

 

For the item results, the white text on the Wynncraft background really doesn't work, especially when the background is kinda messy.

Otherwise, neat.

 

I second this.

What you can do is you can add a gray box behind the text, so you can still see the background and have readable text.

For the start screen i have a suggestion: Crop the image where there is the spear-guy on the cliff :)

Looks neat so far. How did you make it? Used a builder or did you wrote everything yourself?

What language didn't you use ( batch, c++, python?)

 

don't you mean did, and why the hell would you use BATCH or PYTHON for making an ANDROID app?! C++, no clue, but no way python or batch. Do you even know what batch is?

 

Yes it's the coding language used inside of notepad or notepad++ and yes it can be used to make apps if you use the correct plugins

 

Batch is the shell scripting language used for Windows.
Android apps are predominantly made in Java.

 

Still windows phones and tablets do exist

 

Scripting languages are not used for application development

I made a few things like this a while ago for crafting recipes in vanilla minecraft... Using scratch.







Jk I didn't. Seems pretty good, although I personally wouldn't use it.
