SPOILER I Found Something In The Abandoned Mines...

So I was out looking for stuff in the Abandoned Mines (because of its relation to Dern and there's a lot of myth around it), then I found this part of the Mines right here

It's absolutely nothing at first glance, but, when I walked over there. I saw a Corrupted Miner behind the wall. I checked (frantically) around the entire area but there was no entrance or opening into the place. (sadly I didn't get a screenshot of it because 1. I killed it before I had the sense to do that)

However, I did spot 3 pressure plates near it. Maybe that's the key to opening it.

but this means one of two things:

1. There's space behind there that is possibly or in the near future accessible.
2. This space behind there is there for a reason, and the fact that mobs are coded to spawn in there means its not coincidence or something unused, it means its intentionally there, and it was purposely blocked off and hidden... hmmmm...

Isn't that the exit you take after exiting out of the portal in Fantastic Voyage?

 

Don't know. I don't remember coming out that way when I finished the quest.
