Poison and all those that use it are cancerous dirtbags who should fie in a dire. Thorns is also included in the most cancerous I'd list.

 

jesus you guys are getting really heated over a person just wanting to know if they will enjoy the game more playing with a different build. Plus not everyone plays pvp.

You are making a big assumption to just say that to me. I barely use poison in combat, and I never pvp. I certainly don't rely on poison to deal damage, just a lot of weapon's and armour have a side affect of poison.

 

do you know how bad poison really is? it knocks you back like 20 blocks and it deals unavoidable damage it even linger's after death if the effect is still ticking.

 

Yeah I know, it's annoying. I dealt with that the one time I tried out the Nether and there was one level 100+ player there who was wasting there time waiting for low level players to join.
Yes poison builds are annoying to fight against, but so many pieces of armour and weapons have passive poison on them. Sometimes you find things you like, and they happen to have poison on them. You can't remove the poison stat, so I just ignore it when it's there.

 

I like how you're trying to lecture a person with multiple level 100 classes who is also top 100 in nether without using poison...

 

I'm not lecturing, I don't care what level and classes you have I'm just stating that you don't need to be so blatantly rude to this person just asking this little question. It's not a big deal.

both of you, please stop arguing. Its a dumb topic to begin with, since its commonly known to be broken. Its up to the player whether or not they want to use it, knowing how brokenly absurd it is. And secondly, its pointless to argue about stuff like this, especially when you could, oh idk, be doing literally anything else rather than indulging in a flame war on a MMORPG minecraft server's forums. Either way, please stop, no need for pointless arguments. We're all friends here <3

I didn't realise what I was doing was arguing. I was trying to apply reason. All you said I basically said as well. Just unfortunately some people don't want to be understanding.
