Hey all,

It's been a while. A lot has changed since I last logged in. I was scrolling through my screenshots folder when I came across this gem:

if you can't tell, it's (presumably drunk) Grian taking me and a friend on an ocean adventure. This was waaaaaaay back when, before Gavel, before the resource pack, before all the map changes. I just wanted to post this to reflect on all the changes the server has gone through, and how it will continue to change.

 

Ah, good times, back when we had to endure reading "The Gavel Province isn't ready for visitors yet!"

For real though, I actually kind of miss player riding. Wonder how that would work with the CSST and stuff.

I miss the times back when the head admin's interacted more with the community.

I mean... they still do? they're busy with the update currently, but they still sort of do meme around occasionally in Detlas or something. Seriously, compared to other admins in other communities, our admins are very vocal.

Nostalgia or "old days" =/= better

 

The old days were nice, but I wonder if I liked it better back then. The two are practically incomparable nowadays.
