Lore/Story Troms: The Corrupter Of Worlds

Hello again, and Happy Hallowynn! Thank you for the feedback on the last lore I did on Nesakk. Now, here's some really long and kinda spoopy Troms/CoW lore.

The band of adventurers set off into the dark cavern. Vines entangled the ancient walls, and the horrible scent of corruption and death filled the cave. Horrible abominations lurked in the tunnels. Many were missing limbs, burnt off by the Corruption. Many fallen warriors lurked within, held together by magic strong enough to allow them to fight. But the adventurers braved the cave's monsters and continued in.
As the warriors continued forth, the smell of death grew stronger and stronger, and monsters became more horrible. Torchurous screeches echoed through the walls as they continued forth. As they reached a large opening, the adventurers caught their first glimpse at the Corrupter itself - a horrible creature that glowed with death itself, a monster that was once human. It spoke no words and scurried away as they tried to engage the beast.
The corruption soon began to take its toll on the warriors. It tore into their brains, slowly devouring it and consuming it slowly, just as it did the Corrupter. Finally, one of the adventurers snapped. The Warrior turned on his friends, being controlled and manipulated by the Corruption itself. The warriors had but no choice but to slay him, and continue through the hellish cave.
Soon, the warriors reached a cliff edge, with a huge cavern below. As they were discussing ways to bypass it, they felt a shove as three Corrupted pushed them into the cave below. They landed in a sticky goo, softening their fall but leaving them trapped and helpless as the Corrupter snapped his fingers and hundreds of corpses became reanimated, stalking towards them with cold, dead eyes. The Mage quickly teleported out of the goo, and the Archer leapt out of it, but the Assassin was not so lucky. Despite the two warriors putting up their best fight, the Corrupted quickly overwhelmed the Assassin, and he died slashing hoplessly at them.
The adventurers finally reached the last cave. As they stepped in, the entrance behind them collapsed, and the Corrupter of Worlds finally showed itself, blood staining its horrid body and flesh still stuck to its cold, dead bones. It leapt at the two adventurers as they tried desperately to fire at the beast while avoiding its powerful beams of death. Although its thick hide was very tough, the two warriors' powerful spells penetrated through it, and the Corrupted slowly started dying, its blood staining the corrupted earth bright green.
Eventually, the Corrupter earned a lucky shot. Its beam sliced through the Archer, causing her to decay without even a scream, her bones and flesh burning up instantly. The Mage howled in dismay as the last of his friends was slain. Enraged, he channeled the last of his Mana into a single spell, striking the Corrupter with huge force. As the beast became stunned and attempted to recover, the Mage ran forwards and tore the beasts heart out.
The beast screamed in pain. Letting off one more horrible scream, it collapsed onto the ground, disintergrating into nothing more than a pile of ash. And just like that, after hundreds of years of torment, the Corrupter of Worlds was slain, and the curse of the undead was finally lifted from Wynn.
