Mage/Dark Wizard The -8850 Water Defense Build

One of the ways that people have been getting insane damage is to use water damage against a build that makes use of Achilles to have extremely low water defense. I've done a lot of research, and as far as I can tell this is the best there is in that respect. The way it's done is by having very high raw water defense (this build actually has 1245) and very low %water defense (mostly from Achilles, this has a min of -811%), giving a minimum total of -8852 water defense. As the best build will be impossible after the Hive armour change, I've got an alternate one as well.

SANO'S CARE
Simply put, the highest raw water defense in the game, and only +5% min. Go for the lowest water defense and at least 4 intel (skill points are tight)

BOREAL-PATTERNED AEGIS (Stillwater Blue)
Seriously, this was a close one. There was only 10 difference between this (I had to downgrade to Sliver Hydro bracelet and necklace to make the skillpoints work) and Stillwater Blue, with diamond accessories. It was -8852 to -8842, but this won out. (The Stillwater Blue will be better after the Hive change, because Boreal-Patterned is getting more defense%, and this will also be impossible then)

WATER SANCTUARY
Lots of water defense with no %. Perfect.

ACHILLES
Heart of the build, this has us that all-important -500% Water Defense. The great thing about this is that aside from the helmet, weapon and rings it's all shop stuff, you don't need to worry about stats.

THE GAMBLER x2
200 raw and up to -130%? This is perfect. None of the other stats matter, focus on min water defense.

SILVER (Diamond) HYDRO BRACELET
The water defense. (Use Diamond in the Stillwater version, as you can't get 100 intel with Boreal-Patterned.)

SILVER (Diamond) HYDRO NECKLACE
As above.

DIABLO
Our weapon. The only stat that matters is the -water defense, minimum of -78%. This is the lowest of any weapon apart from Inferno, which it ties with. However, we can't afford the defense points for that, so this is the best, and why this is a Mage build.

The Wynndata doesn't actually let me display the minimum water defense on anything, so you can actually go much lower than the total water defense value it shows, but here are each of the two anyway:

As things stand the only thing wrong with damage calculation itself is attack speed factor. You can't call something broken if you rely on your opponent making a build specifically to die.

 

IIRC, it's meant to be - x - = -.

Because that makes sense mathematically!
