Lore/Story Ideas Acknowledged - Failure Of A Sonnet

Hello, here is a sonnet I decided to do for no particular reason, I hope you guys enjoy it! Also.. please don't harshly criticize my sonnet, I know I'm horrible at them. However, feel free to leave resourceful criticism below if you'd like. (Also, the iambic pentameter is wonky on this, if present at all.. bear with me here)

Ideas Acknowledged
Through the stressed lengths of day and lengths of night,
An idea was formed, one dwindling in creation.
Arising and forming anew, the idea took with such height.
However, the work of hers was snatched by others and one.

No rightful credit was given, nor was it seen.
By the hands of an outsider, a deceiving fool who stole,
The idea was unrightfully taken, and stolen from a queen.
Upon such consequences, the thief will pay its toll.

The rightful inventor stood up and spoke against such actions.
Crowds knew that the work was hers, and shunned the one for stealing.
Alas, they should have known that snatching ideas costs tons.
For nobody enjoys a thief who has flings.

Among which lies have you believed?
Which truths have you ignored?
