Art Inktober - 2

I can already see that this won't be a daily thing haha. I went out to my local arts and crafts store today to purchase ink pens for inktober. Believe it or not, I've actually never used them before. So this drawing was pretty much a practice run for me to get used to these pens, then I'll hopefully start making more original art throughout the month.

 

Day 2! And it's a miserable failure haha. I attempted doing something that I would typically do in Photoshop for fun, basically making head portraits with saturated colors. But for some reason I couldn't get the face right at all. As you can see, the eyes are a bit too scrunched up and the nose looks awkward. Other than that, I've learned that 5 minutes is not enough time for the ink to dry, causing it to smudge a bit at the bottom. I'm still doing practice runs, as inking is vastly different from a digital paint tool.

I think I'll do Salted tomorrow in this style >:3
