A small band of rebels is beginning to form, and it is up to us, WynnExcavation, to stop them. But to do that, the power of the crystals is required...

WynnExcavation Mafia is a mafia game co-hosted by @stlast and @Knuckles4212.
This game leans more on the traditional side of Mafia than Wynn Mafia, featuring only ten players and no role madness. The game will run on 5-day days and 2-day nights. Additionally, it is a reverse mafia, meaning that the innocents are the scum and mafia are town. However, one notable feature is present: the crystals.

Two crystals are hidden in unknown locations, and the person who capable of finding one is blessed with power. Whether it be protection or raw strength, the crystals are capable of turning the tides of the game when in the right hands - or the wrong hands.

In order to find the crystals, the province of Wynn must be searched. Every in-game day, each player may send a private message to the hosts and guess one location in the province where a crystal may be hiding. Should you be correct, it is yours to use every night. However, all players have the ability to steal from someone else every night, and if they happen to choose a crystal-bearer, it will fall into the thief’s hands. If you possess both crystals, you will only be able to use one at a time.

Besides that, however, it is an ordinary game of mafia. On top of role abilities and the like, one player may be lynched each day if voted out, and the scum (rebels, in this case) are able to kill one player each night.

Added rule: No-lynches are allowed, but will lose in a tie.

1. Private conversations between players regarding the game are not allowed unless created or permitted by the host(s).
2. No quoting, copy-pasting, or screenshotting anything a host says in a conversation unless explicit permission is given.
3. If you are dead or not participating in the game, do not reveal information to other players.
4. If you are dead or not participating in the game, any posts made should be in this thread and not the game thread.
5. No-lynches are allowed, but will lose in a tie.
   
6. During the night, do not discuss game information unless it is in the rebel (scum) chat.
7. You may not edit or delete any posts you make in the game thread.
8. If you are inactive for two full phases, then you will be replaced. Inactivity means that you have not posted in the game thread (or a game conversation, if one is given to you), have not performed any actions, and have not informed at least one of the hosts of your absence beforehand.
   
9. The word of the hosts is final.

this reverse-style game is pretty far removed from mafia but i've never played this style before so i'm interested to see how it'll go

yeah at first I was like "wait so you mean 7 mafia 3 town"
but if you just swap the flavors, that would be fine(iirc it happened before and the game went well)
