Any reason as to why the file isnt launching?

 

What do you mean by "the file isnt launching"? You need Forge modloader to make it work, at least Forge 1.11.2-13.20.0.2269 or later

 

Where do I get that

Choose those marked with a star, that are the latest/recommended versions.

 

Im confused, i downloaded the latest one and then tried to launch the wynn expansion file and got the same message

 

Downloading without installing it won't do anything... You need to install Forge.
If you are on Windows, download the installer and run it with Java. Select "install client", click ok and wait for it until it's finished. After that, launch Minecraft once and select the new profile named "forge", it should use the versions folder called similar to this, depending on which forge version you installed: 1.11.2-forge1.11.2-13.20.1.2386
A folder called "mods" should appear in %appdata%\Roaming\.minecraft after you launched MC. Close Minecraft and drag and drop Wynn expansion into that "mods" folder:



tldr:
download (the recommended version of) Forge, preferably the installer because it's easy to use, install it, launch Minecraft using the new "forge" profile, close MC, drag and drop WynnExp into "mods", done.

 

And if youre on mac?

It works up until step 3 on the installing Wynn Expansion, then it just stops liking me

Actually wait nvm Im in the forge game type but nothing seems to be happening like the modpack says

 

I need help setting up WynnSound. I downloaded the pack for it and toggled off the ingame music. When I put it into my resource pack section, I put it above everything so its sound would be top priority. Help?

what details? I'll gladly give them in order to get wynnsound working. It looks cool

as I said, when you first try out WynnSound and it doesn't work, it suggests you download the resourcepack for WynnSound by XavierEXE. I did this.

I've toggled off the normal wynn music via /toggle music and I've restarted my mc on multiple occasions since.

 

Jusy remembered, I believe you need to press a key to open up the Music Menu. Check your controls to see which key opens up the Music Menu.

 

I press H to open up the menu. Also.. how would I know where to download the WynnSound pack if I didn't know about the menu...

 

I thought you already have the pack installed?

 

I'm having the exact same issue with the sound.

 

this is the thing that finally got me off 1.8.9, even if the spell inputs in 1.11 feel weird this is simply too amazing to pass up

 

The WynnSound feature does not work, even when using the resource pack provided.
