Out Of The Loop?

I have been playing Wynncraft for nearly 4 years now and whilst I love it and it's community and generally everything about it, I can't help but feel that as a player, I'm often left wondering what on Earth is going on behind the scenes.

I am aware of the coding refactor that is going on, and I appreciate that updates take time and huge commitment and effort, however, since Corkus, there has only been one official comment of the upcomign updates back in June which was explaining 1.18 more than anything. Since then, there have been various occasions on which "4-5 weeks" has been a stated deadline, (I believe at Wynncon?) But it's now been almost 6 months since the last update and currently we have no clue of what is going on.

I apologise for seeming like I'm ranting about this, but currently all I know is that this update will focus on content.Iif anyone has any solid information on this upcoming update that we know of I would greatly appreciate it.

 

When the update is close to done, Salted and possibly other important CT will start hinting more, maybe an early changeblog. Small teaser was posted on @Selvut283 's profile, most likely a new legendary weapon.

EDIT: Just realised @XavierEXE posted something interesting on his profile, not sure if it's an update teaser or something else though.

 

Well, I don't have as much experience as you, but I know that first of all, almost every quest includes their own custom build, and some are their own city or such. Then, the GMs or command blockers have to create and programm the quest. Lastly, they are adding a lot more of other things as well, so I expect it to take long.

 

We're working very hard, you'll see it when it's ready! :)
