Lets Talk About The ??? Quest

I while ago, I made a thread called "are the four ??? brothers time travelers?" and not many people liked it, let alone how a said they were time travelers. but that got me thinking...

what if they are time travelers? but more importantly... How would they be time travelers? (if its true)

So here's what I'm asking all of you... if this IS true, how would it be true?

Just think about it! Reeeeeaally think about it, redo the quest if you have to! (for more info, maybe)

I don't think the brothers are time travelers. There is no evidence that says there are, whereas there are lots of evidence that they went insane through other ways - the meteor that fell in Lake Gylia. The signs in the meteor plus the lore of Pure as well as the fact that we have to wear a magically warded helmet to go into the lake (where the meteor crashed, I think) all support the idea that the brothers are not time travelers.

Those are my thoughts, let me know what you think.

Like everyone is saying, they simply aren't time travelers. There's no evidence to support it at all, and even if there was some odd statement here or there, it wouldn't do much to support the idea.

But since everyone is just restating what you've already heard and not actually answering the question of IF they were time travelers how would they be, I guess I'll give it a shot (keep in mind, what I'm typing is purely hypothetical and is not my thoughts about ???. It probably won't correlate with any events we know of in-lore, and will have more than a fair share of made up scenarios and leaps of logic. Please keep that in mind before you reply saying that this is wrong, because you'd just be stating the obvious).

Aight. The four brothers from ??? are from a future when the corruption has completely taken over everything in the world. Wynn, Gavel, Corkus, Fruma, all of it has been overrun with corruption. They were from the last remaining group of survivors, located in the fallen city Llevigar, and were attempting to find a way to undo the corruption. They heard about some meteors (from however long ago it was) that crashed into Gavel, and sent out to look for them. They found the meteors, drained of their magic, and lost hope. Then they heard about a place in Wynn where time flowed strangely, almost as if it was slower. They set out across the provinces, and arrived in Time Valley. They time travelled back to a time before the meteors crashed into Gavel. When the meteors finally crashed, they studied them and stuff, but then were drove crazy because the exposure to the corruption caused the meteors to affect them negatively. Done.

Like I said, purely hypothetical, and for obvious reasons this DID NOT HAPPEN. I was simply answering his question.
