    Uhm...hi!

    The thing is:
I saw many people with red, purple, etc... dyed Cosmic Armor at some of the CSST Partys.

But dying leather armor shouldn't be possible, right?
    So...
How did they get it? Did they abused a glitch? Is it bannable? Or is it just not welcome but tolerated?
    And...
If I clicked a water-filled cauldron with a piece of Cosmic Set, can I get the original color somehow back?

I'm confused, so I would appreciate it if anyone could clarify it instead of answering with things like "I guess..." or "From what I heard..." etc. That won't help me much.

    Thank you c:

They dyed there leather armor using a glitch, the staff doesn't support it, but you won't get banned for it. You aren't supposed to say how it is done.

If you see somebody with dyed armor use the /report (name) command.
Be sure that it is in fact dyed armor though

    Yes it is.
Dying armor is a glitch abuse, and as stated here:

not abuse bugs, glitches or exploits.
(Leaving the map, obtaining illegal items, duping and bypassing restricted areas. Also included is bypassing territory cool-down.)

It is bannable. First time offenders will just get a warning.

Im pretty sure I've read somewhere that its fine as it is only cosmetics and it is so widespread. You wouldn't see it nearly as much if people got warnings/got banned for it

As of my knowledge, it is not a bannable offense nor punishable though it technically does count as an abuse of a glitch. I guess the team has decided it for being acceptable + Ive seen a few mods having dyed their cosmic armor (excluding me, I love lavender).

Additionally, I think the concern about dying armor was due to them being sold, which is not possible for the cosmic set, unless they get glitched over. But in this case, you would get banned for glitching items over.
