    This looks really good :D But the main criticism I have for this piece is about the values.

    The body and the background are too similar in value, which makes it appear practically 2D. Usually you want either a light character and dark background or a dark character and light background. I made quick edit to show you what I mean. (It doesn't look good since everything was on one layer, making it extremely hard to edit ;p)

    The hand could also use some blur since it's reaching out to a different depth point. Also I added some particles for a more dynamic feel.

    EDIT: I might be completely in the wrong about the colors and values. I just looked at this from a different computer and it looks perfectly fine... So I might be seeing different things due to monitor issues. Whoops
