the thing is, beta testing should have been out 1 or 2 months ago, at this time the update should be out live right now, but delays ftw.

 

Beta testing is only going to happen for special cases. Such as changes in the code.
Things as adding new content (quests/builds) doesn't really need extensive testing as it can be done by the CT.
That being said there will always be issues when the map is transferred and moved around, as it's impossible for it to stay the same it seems.

 

That moment when you see a "Beta testing!" and a "update release date!" thread but they turn out to be both shitposts

I think it's important that beta testing is primarily there to test new features and changes for issues and bugs, and not as a rank reward. There is no obligation to have it for every update, only that when the developers feel it is needed, Hero ranks are invited. You get plenty of other perks and you surely bought the rank under the understanding that beta testing would be infrequent, please grow up.

Corkus was tested, as I said new bugs appear when the map transfers, that is inevitable.
We found all the bugs we could and fixed almost all of the major issues.

 

Don't really care about quests, but new items/builds do need beta testing. If builds/items are being tested by a CT, then I'm sorry for being a dick, but they are doing a terrible job.
There have been so many item nerfs because certain combos were overlooked or weren't even considered. So many people wasted their time making a build and grinding just to have their build ruined. And then people dare to yell "wow, you so triggered". Of course people are triggered, things like those could have been avoided if testing was done in a correct way with experienced people.

Blizzard makes item changes frequently, and for each patch, beta testing lasts for 3 months+. 3 months of build testing with hundreds, if not thousands, of people. Wynncraft is starting to become a serious game, it needs to start approaching things differently. Wynncraft needs a dedicated experienced players to test builds before they are publicly available, otherwise stuff like constant nerfs will continue to happen. There is nothing worse than getting shit on by the game when it's not even your fault.
