How Do I Help?

Hello! I would love it if a mod(s) could read this and help me out!

I applied for GM and was unfortunately rejected. :(

I really want to help the official WynnCraft, but there aren't many ways to do it:
Reddit is dormant.
I was rejected for CT.

There aren't ways for me to actually make something for WynnCraft that will help.

It would really be helpful if someone had good advice for me.
Also, if a mod could message me an official project, I would be honored!

Help out with the wiki? That's the first thing that comes to mind, with a new update there will probably be lots of things to do there.

 

Just cause you got rejected this time doesn't mean you can't help out at all! There's a github that always needs to be updated, you can answer threads like this, or you can keep trying to get on the CT. Just cause your app got rejected once doesn't mean you're doomed to never join either. There's builder and command blocking as well, if you're feeling up to those tasks! If you have any other questions about this, feel free to message a mod or myself.

How do you do the far-right info box with the image?

 

Look at other pages first before creating your own so that you can get a vision for how they are formatted. For this page, the template Infobox/Town would work. The most accurate page that I could find that is similar to the Wolf Den would be the Fire & Water Cave, so you can just copy and paste the Infobox there and put it into your page. Of course, you would have to edit the contents before saving your page.

Consult the Conventions section in the Community Portal for guidelines on creating a page, as well as other important etiquette (also check out the Basic Wiki Editor Guide).
Also keep in mind the length of the page you're creating. In my opinion, location pages with 500 bytes (characters) or less are too short, depending on the location you're doing. Expand upon your page by adding some details. Since the page you're creating is centered around a popular grinding spot, why not create a section about the mobs that dwell there?

I see that you tried to apply for GM but was rejected. From my experience applying for the position, it took me 3 attempts before I actually got to the trial stage. However, I found that if you stay determined enough to keep trying, eventually you will be able to succeed.

I am willing to help you revise your quest if you need feedback or suggestions on what to do. The CT always needs more people (especially GMs) due to the amount of content we make each update. It would be a wonderful contribution if you managed to make it into the team.

Please, don't give up on this just because you got rejected once. It hurts, but only if you keep going will you be able to succeed with your goal. The best thing you can do is stay determined.

Unfortunately, school is taking a lot of time. I applied when it was summer, so my time is draining. :( That's why I am looking for a way to help otherwise. Thanks so much for your words, of motivation, I will consider applying when I get time!
