Can't Get Back To Quest After I Died?

(Sorry in advance, not sure if this is the right place to put this. I was going to put it in Bugs, but I don't really think this counts as a bug)
So I was doing the Mixed Feelings quest that takes place in corkus. I got as far as the 'survive the fight against the drugged corkian,' but I hadn't initially read the book that told me to survive it. Instead I tried to fight it, and, obviously, I died in the process. But the problem isn't that, it's the fact that after I died, I can't get back to that fight. The map changed, so I used my escape spell to get back up to the blimp that takes you into the lair, but the blimp doesn't have the button that initiates the cut scene that takes you into it. Is there no other way to get back to that point?

 

Go into the bar, then the flight
