Map Is Broke

hi when i use the map my icon doesn't show why is this happening this even happens when i'm in a world

 

try harder (refresh the page until it works.)

 

You can just check the coordinates in the bottom left instead

 

I don't exactly know why that sometimes happens, but it happened to me several times as well.

Sometimes you can fix it by reloading the page.

If that doesn't help, you can check coordinates in the bottom left corner of the map. You can see the coordinates of the place your mouse pointer is pointed at.

If you want to know where to go and can't see your icon, you might have to read the map like a normal street map or something similar. Try to recognise places and think about where to go and what you might be able to see if you go the right way.
The compass in the top right corner of the map could help you navigate as well: North is pointed to the top left corner. So if you see your orientation ingame, you might be able to guess which direction to go...
