World New Boats

We currently have 2 type of boats. The one that gives 15% speed when beside another and a normal one (is it broken??) We should add more.

there should be a quest that gives you one free boat, based in Nemract. Ill make another thread for it.

I think, since Nemract is the starting port for players, the merchant will only sell the normal boat. In selchar though, the merchant will sell the 15% speed boost one.

Llevigar, will sell higher tiers, and so on depending on what level the area is in.

 

boats aren't that important to the game

 

I find it great and if they were faster I would use it a lot more

Yes because boats are cheaper than seaskipper passes.

 

I really dont think a quest is necessary to explain the mechanics of the boat to players. The last thing we need is another tiny, low level, redundant, filler quest.

 

Since you can reuse boats, yes, they save emeralds overall.

 

But is that worth the inventory spot?

 

never really had much inv trouble
also passes still use a spot while you carry them
