it's not even about the game, and at least try to acknowledge the problem

 

I hate people who act like they're superior then everyone else becouse they're in the position of authority.

I hate it when people use a knife for multiple things at breakfast, I don't want jam in my butter.

 

I really shouldn't get started on this... I could vent for hours.

But my most important point is, that people do not agree. Wars are started because people are disagreeing.
So for the love of bacon, who cares? There are so many bullshit reasons to get butthurt, and yet stupid, uneducated people care about some person claiming the earth is round, while every scientific evidence suggest it actually is.
Even the phone and console wars can cause dispute. Why? Because your parents bought you an iPhone for christmas when you were 13 and you have used one since, andriod is suddenly the bane of your existence?

I have adopted a mindset I like to call "The ways of the honey badger".
Basically I don't give a crap about what is not important to me (family, friends, the society surrounding me, etc.). Also known as "Hakuna Matata".
I found a bit of peace in this. Life becomes a lot easier when you don't care about everything.

Welp, this went on for longer than I'd hoped... And there's still a lot (a lot) more to vent about.

Oh, btw, I probably have an opinion in every single discussion that has been vented already, but I don't want to sit here for the next week discussing all of them.

 

I dislike it when people immediately judge others based on likes of a certain item in media or other areas. The obvious thing for me here is Homestuck. I understand that Homestuck is very much a 'You love it or you hate it' type fandom, and people within it have caused some trouble before, but when people immediately group you with them (or the negative parts of the fandom) because you're both in the same fandom and so say "Oh you're just Homestuck trash ew get out" and other like statements, it really annoys me. That's almost the same as the problem some people have with muslims because ISIS call themselves muslims. Just because you're in the same basket as a bad egg does not make you a bad egg too.

I also don't like it when someone uses a dirty knife that's been used in one spread to get another spread and some of the first spread comes off and gets in the other spread. Or when they use that knife to cut your sandwich or other food item and the edge of it is a bunch of different spreads and it tastes gross and ruins it.

 

Sometimes it makes me sad that certain forumers, who, rather than peacefully leave Wynn when they're no longer interested, will occasionally attempt to act as obnoxious and attention-garnering as possible to make everyone's day worse other than themselves. With an attitude resembling that of a 4chan poster, whenever they pop in it's usually to make a subtle insult towards the community and/or the game itself, I know it's just for fun/jokes, but the toxic behavior they encourage really irks me. It feels like they have nothing better to do than be a bad apple on a community they were formerly part of. You know who I'm talking about.

And it's mostly old players, and what's more sad to me is that some of them joined later than me.

Holy god Lyanna Mormont you are the most beast mode person ever I mean why tf is your house a minor house I mean you're clearly 100% better than the Starks seriously? And George RR Martin keeps tweeting that he's going to kill you off and I'm just sitting here like uwotm8 this is ur most bestest creation why tf would you kill her omg. Her actor didn't even watch GOT and she's better than everyone else anyway.

Also give her a bear mount.

And Daenerys you are officially the most annoying person on the planet right now I mean if you tell Jon to bend the knee one more time I will mistake you for a goddamn physician. I used to love you, but lately you have just been a stupid drama queen and uuuugh. NOT TO MENTION WE HAVE A MUCH BETTER CANIDATE FOR THE IRON THRONE AND HER NAME IS LYANNA MORMONT.

Aight this has gone waaaay off the rails. Nope. Locking and cleaning up, and probably not unlocking. If a thread is going to lead to a bunch of political flaming, then let's not start the thread.

EDIT:

A few things to learn from this:

• Political ideology of any kind is apparently too much for some people to handle in this thread, so I've just outright removed all of it because I'm not going to go through each post with a fine toothed comb and then have people claim I'm biased. Sorry if you meant well and were caught in the crossfire!
• On that last note - a minecraft forum is probably the last place you want to be talking politics. We allow it (within reason) but seriously, don't get into arguments.
• Don't go making threads that are obviously going to incite a flame war... come on.

Please don't make another thread like this again, if you want to make silly jokes about venting go for it, but the slightest inclination of an argument like this again and I'm just going to nuke it.
