Any Class Help Capricorn Or Memento

I have a really good Memento I want to use for my mage set once I create it, problem is, I'm not sure if I should get a Capricorn instead...

Which one is better generally, Capricorn or Memento?

capricorn and paradox basically have the same mana just more uses which is handy

also its a scarfblob and the cult is based around @captainganon

 

Usually mage builds get an absurd amount of mana regen even if you don't use memento at all, and the spell damage is just minorly better, certainly not enough to trade the speed int points and everything else from capricorn for it... right?

How did this meta-meme came to even be exactly? Is there something I'm missing that makes people like memento?

Yes but its only like 50 more max spell damage, if you get a good one, wouldn't capricorn be better in any situation?

 

raw spell dmg build has less mana regen than %spell dmg does, so the extra mana regen comes handy

tru but atleast it's somewhat good when you dont have gaea-hewn or arent lvl 100

 

I mean I prefer to use Memento in the standard Cumulo Boreal Vaward Moon Pool x2 Squid Anklet Gigabyte Air Weapon combo since it provides extra mana, only has slightly less spell, and doesn't annoy me to death by not having - earth.

 

memento is defiantly my preference unless you are using warrior (cause -ls sucks)
