A "repost" Of My Very First Wynncraft Suggestion

This is not a suggestion, rather a thread made to reminisce about a suggestion I made 4 years ago.

I'll be honest I don't know where to post this.

Gather around kids, and let me tell you how most suggestions were bad back then just like they are today.

This suggestion was posted on the old-old forums, somewhere in August of 2013, roughly a month or so after I joined Wynncraft, I was somewhere in the level 30s as well. Yes, even grandpa Cruuk was just as intelligent as suggestions like "reduce lag", it's scary I know.

Unfortunately, this isn't a word-for-word repost of the suggestion, as the original thread is long gone, this is all from memory, though I think I can remember it pretty well. I'm just posting this so people have something to laugh at.

NOTE: If I quote myself, it's not going to be 100% accurate, this is all from memory.

The thread started with me roughly saying that "i know wynncraft plans to add more islands so here's my idea for a new area"
I think this was before Gavel was even known about or was being developed, I just remember something saying that Wynn will eventually have more larger areas in the future or something.

I suggested that Wynncraft would add a new area that consisted of a bunch of floating clouds in the sky, along with 2 dungeons and a town, you would get up there via a beanstalk on some small, random island.

The town was called "Amat", named after the former admin Tama. I suggested nothing concerning the town's content, all the info I gave about it was that it was named "Amat" and that it floated in the clouds, nothing else.

There were 2 main parts to this area, one of them was an area full of regular, white clouds with a level range of 40-50(?), and the other was full of grey storm clouds in the 50-60 range(?).

I even made mobs for the area! I suggested the name, level, and nothing else! Hell, I think I even wanted them to be flying mobs! I think I suggested for them to be Skeletons wearing colored leather armor? Can't remember the details of this one.

As mentioned before, I also suggested 2 different dungeons for this area, not much detail, just a rough description of the dungeon itself and the boss.

The first dungeon was an airship somewhere in the level 50 range, can't remember the details for this one, it was probably a combat-oriented one where you fought a fucking pirate as the boss.

The second dungeon was a shoehorned reference to Jack and the Beanstalk, in the Level 60 range, it was meant to be a castle made of Emerald blocks, where you fought mobs wearing Emerald blocks, while doing parkour, and at the end, fight a Giant wearing an Emerald block, that could do shockwaves! (This was before mob spells)
I only suggested shockwaves because I played on the old MineZ server at the time.

This was before quests, and before the CoW, which means I wanted this Emerald castle thing to be an endgame dungeon.

Also worth noting was that I did not press the enter key once while making the suggestion, it was a giant wall of text.

And you know what, I don't remember any sort of criticism in the replies on the thread, in fact, I don't remember any sort of post pointing out anything wrong with my suggestion, I just remember the thread getting like 3-5(?) replies then dying off.

Well, at least some stuff from this suggestion made it into the game. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

What if it's a pseudo-repost of one made 4 years ago, with the intention of something to laugh at, not something to add into the game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

The thread can stay, however I will be editing it to make it clear that this is not a suggestion; rather a thread about an old suggestion that was semi-implemented.

 

I guess that's fair then.

 

I can't help but feel bad for Tama, poor pig has nothing named after him in game.
