I Haven't Played Wynncraft In A While, Can Someone Give Me General Tips?

I haven't played Wynncraft since the gavel update came out, because i got extremely confused about everything in the update.
Since then I basically forgot everything about Wynncraft, can someone help me? I'm a level 42 archer.

game mechanics mostly. I have 6 liquid emeralds and a few legendary weapons but i have no clue how to navigate, what to do, and how the types like earth, air, fire, etc work

The different elements are basically different damage types, I guess also for different play styles. Air is for more mobility (could be for more idk I never use this element) with fire being more for defense, earth for damage, thunder for crits and more damage, water for spells and mana. Powders are used on weapons and armor for different elements and can even be used to put special abilities on them. you can read the changelogs for the Gavel, gameplay, and corkus updates if you need more information on what's been added

If you haven't played for so long I recommend starting a new class

 

start a new class and forget everything you knew about wynn

 

I can't tell if you stopped right before Gavel or if you played after Gavel.
Spells work the same way, anyhow. Archer is in a bit of a bad place right now and is not the greatest class at endgame levels. Movement's the same, and I recommend unbinding your drop key (so you don't drop your horse or something).
If you left before Gavel, start a new class, as sooo many things have changed.

If you left after, here's what you need to know (i mean yeah there's more I could say):
There's a sprint bar now. You won't use up mana while sprinting (although you cannot sprint while under 4 mana, because Minecraft [and how hunger works]).
Fire, earth, water, etc. are elements. Each one is weak to something and strong against something else. A lot of mobs will have a thing under the mob name that tells you if they:
Deal more damage with a specific element/use that element.
Have elemental defence against specific elements.
Have elemental weaknesses against specific elements.

Powders are back, but this time they add elemental damage to your weapons. There are 6 tiers of powders, and if you apply 2 of any powder above tier 4 (of the same element) then you will get a powder special, an effect that helps you in some way.
There is a bug in which lifesteal activates on the explosion (and poison or thorns or reflection or something) id, and there are many people who use that to their advantage (aka get the best apoc they can).

Dungeons have been revamped.. again. They're pretty buggy but are an excellent way to earn xp as long as you know how to get around the bugs.

Corkus is a thing. Once a meme, now a thing. A steampunk island with some bird issues. And mechs. It's only accessible at level 83 (or something around there), so you won't be visiting it soon.
