Skill Points Distribution

I was wondering what skills you should focus on the Archer and Assassin class for it to be most effective.
Currently running 18 18 19 14 12 on my assassin, and archer is a thought in progress. Any tips? Assassin is currently level 33, soon 34.
Would love some feedback about different builds!

 

It depends a lot on your playstyle.
The most common archer uses agility and inteligence because of the low defence and high spell damage. This is also known as spell-spam speed archer. Not a very innovative name.

Assassin is good in just about any element and close-quarter playstyle, so there is no less good way to distribute the skills on that class. Because of the close quarters though, it is commonly found that assassins focus on a defensive skill, agility or defence, as well as some intelligence to keep the mana consumption down.
Another common assassin is a poisonous one, with I believe thunder as main skill.

But in the end, it is really just up to you. Whether you want to go for a single-element, multi-element, or full rainbow, is your own choice.
I would recommend researching how the different skills act alone, as well as together with others, and make a choice from that.

What level does your intelligence need to be to stop having mana problems?

 

For archer, basically everyone uses Int/Agi (Water/Air) builds. Archer can deal a ton of damage with their spells and Int helps to reduce the cost of spells, allowing for "spell spam" builds. Agility is a pretty obvious choice, as archer is weak in terms of defense and it helps take less damage.

Assassin probably requires the most mana, as its spells are pretty expensive mana-wise. I would definitely focus on Int. Then it's up to you. Assassin has to get close to the enemy, so you could opt for a tankier build with defense or agility. If you wanted to, dex is also an option for dealing insane amounts of damage. It's pretty much based on your playstyle.

Also as a sidenote, try not to spread out your skill points among the skills. It's best to pick out two or three and focus your sp mostly on those. Or you could save them, as some weapons and armor require a certain amount of some skill(s) to use.
