Activating New Particle Effects?

    I recently learned that there is a monthly crate that can give various rewards. I used it two days ago and got the cloud particle effect (for attacks I believe). I've right clicked and left clicked it, but I don't see a visual particle effect. Is there a specific way to dis-activate/activate them? I currently play Archer and Mage, thanks.
