It actually sorta makes sense that nintendo shut down am2r now that samus returns is a thing though.

 

Nintendo: You can only have the fun that WE permit you to have!

 

At least it's still like Pokemon Uranium/whatever other fan game they blocked recently and it's still downloadable and playable. While it may set the pixelmon devs back, I highly doubt Nintendo/GameFreak will continue to go after them. I still can't help but find it weird that this is shut down but mobile-mon rip-offs are still up and running, though with so many I can understand why the simply don't bother.

 

FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS

 

1:10 to 2:35 is the interesting bit, not sure if it completely applies here because nintendo are being stricter about it than some other game companies but still think this is some usefull information overall.

Also the mobile app shop is like a giant overflowing sewer system, way too much to clean out alone, even with all legal help in the world, and even if you did somehow do it it would just refill again.
