From my experience, I've obtained many more legendaries with loot bonus on my runs and more emeralds. However, it's very hard to tell whether it works or not. First off, You'd need to test it on multiple servers that have been up for the same amount of time. There's still a problem with that which is that chests may have spawned at different times and some sitting longer than others. A scenario that allows you to honestly test this will pretty much never happen. So I guess whether you want to use loot bonus on runs is up to you. Won't have solid results every time though
