Interesting set of artworks Tubular! Anyway, I do have a question to ask. How am I supposed to add depth (3D features) into background drawings?

 

Hm? You already have a good grasp on depth in my opinion
Can ya show me one where you feel its not there

 

Sadly, I don't have one artwork that I wasn't satisfied for its background. However, I do want to know how you actually add depth into the rocky terrain.

Also, the trees you drew kinda interests me. So how do you even draw the trees?

 

to get depth in the mountain i just did different layers of shading
for the trees, i just sorta scribbled with back and forth strokes
