Today - July 17th 2017 Something spectacular happened, the chances of it happening like so are in the portions of billions.
Today - Spectrum_MC got 2 mythics, differentiating in origins - the mythics were different items, gained from different monsters - different indeviduals from a cave known as the "dragon cave"
Both mythics, were gotten through means proving fate as the most cruel genesis humanity ever faced - Ones who never gotten a mythic's mob totem - Mine.

R.I.P - my sanity - it never got a chance to prove itself, and died at 2017.

SERIOUSLY THIS MIGHT BE THE FIRST TIME SOMEONE GOT 2 MYTHICS IN A TIME DIFFERENCE OF SECONDS, AND IT HAD TO HAPPEN IN MY MOB TOTEM, ME WHO'VE NEVER GOTTEN A MYTHIC.
THIS IS SOMETHING THATS' CHANCE IS IN PORTIONS OF BILLIONS AND IT JUST HAD TO HAPPEN IN MY MOB TOTEM.

well its 5 in a billion for getting the same one from 1 mob - but thats not possible as far as i know - it was overdramatization, about the loot chest thing im not sure but im almost sure this is the first time someone got 2 mythics in seconds from mobs.
even if the chance isn't what i said it is, its still pretty freaking frustrating this happened - people love frustrating tiny things, so i posted it here so people can look at it and laugh at my very limited misury.

0.0007 is the percent, not the actual number. If you want to square it, you have to divide by 100 for the actual probability and then square that.

 

Not even close to trillions, it ends up being a chance in the tens of millions to the hundreds of millions depending on the amount of mobs killed between each mythic - the amount wasn't that great and i'd say this player killed not over 150 mobs, meaning in the worst case scenario they would get it in a chance at the tens of millions, which is still so little, again - dramatization.

49 trillionths out of one is equal to 0.0000000049%. Literally used your number, if there's anyone to question it's you. Unless you're saying that the chance is just flat 49 trillionths, which isn't a way of measuring probability that I know of.

If there's such a large amount of disparity between the occurrences the probability is essentially just the same as getting a single mythic.

Yes, but the probably i put is getting 2 mythics from a batch of 150 mobs, not one of getting 2 mythics from one mob, as thats literally impossible.
the probability of getting a mythic from a mob is 7/1000000, that hasn't changed here, its just that if you do the math i did you'll end up with a couple tens of millions of batches of these mobs, if you do the same math for the initial number you'll end up with about 1050/1000000 which is 1/1000 - the probability of getting a mythic from a batch of 150 mobs is about 1, and that of getting from a batch 150 mobs 2 mythics, would be 0.0000735 which is kinda close to 1/1000000 but still in a chance in the tens of millions, you can check the math if you want, it would be really easy.

this ^ is my answer, along with "in the seas of salt" you on the other hand decided to come here and was pissed because i was trying to make people laugh a little and a big part of that post was announcing someone got 2 mythics from a single batch of mobs, you just had to make a sarcastic comment about it - one more thing, these people already hijacked my forum post with maths (which im fine with) and hijacking that hijackers' beautiful work with complaints does NOT fit well with me.

It happened during a loot bomb so he just found one which was doubled. He didn't find two within seconds.
