How Should I Make Money As High Level Char?(80+)

Currently I think I the basic is by trading with players. Although I'm not sure which item I should offer ( For now I think it's legendaries and maybe rares?).
My method of gaining the resource for trading is by mob drops, and constant chest looting (my last spot is around Thanos [underground and above ground]), quest (maybe).
Though, I notice from a powder hunting video at Gavel, that the player (lvl 90+ maybe) ignore the loot that I usually take and though was valuable (emeralds, uniques, and normal items).
He also didn't collect and save emeralds in his inventory at all or collect those at the ground(which I did).
I always collect uniques and normal items to sell at item buyer, but after watching that video I think that I might be far behind in economy.
I only have 39 LE and some more blocks for my whole characters. My other characters are few low level.

You really shouldn't collect normal items nor emeralds and probably not most uniques either on any good loot runs, you'll find better items than commons and I usually just keep unique accessories because they can be worth a good amount if they have good ids, on a good loot run you'll just have all of your other inventory slots filled with legendaries, rares and I tend to keep a few health pots because I run into fire a lot. Loot running is a good way to gain items but do it in Corkus(best) or around Rodoroc and Ahmsford, the Thanos vaults do admittedly contain good chests but you'll get higher level items in the other spots I mentioned which will usually be worth more.

 

What level are you?

Usually its just grind and trade,

get a good legendary drop and sell it for a few LE



if your only at 40Le,

Your not selling enough stuff, or at high enough prices

Or your item buyering it

 

Lvl 84. For my only trading experience in high levels (early gavel, and near gameplay update), I only sell bad id papyrus for 5 le and a maelstorm (I don't remember, kinda lower than average price of 5 le), but also bought maelstorm(twice for 6 LE total) and Bob's mythic bow for 11 le total.
When I decided to start storing legendaries untill now I only have few blade of purity and empire builder which before gameplay update (last time I played frequently) didn't seem interesting/valuable (probably still lame now), so I didn't sell those. I also only have 1 lvl 70ish staff when I come back to Wynn now.
