    I probably spelt the name of the boots wrong, but anyways, the wiki says that when the NPC for lost soles returns the boots, they are unidentified, the problem is that I have 25% melee damage on the boots and I don't want to lose that ID. What can I do? (this is my only class above lvl60)

    You will loose your boots anyways during this quest... if you do not want to loose them and in return get the sodeta boots then you unfortunately cannot do the quest

    You ll have to grind the xp then D: it really shouldnt be an issue though as you can by now almost instant level through the 60s
