Wynncraft

I always wanted to download the wynncraft world. But i can't find any downloads, i'd like too see how wynncraft and command block works in the server. I Will also like to build something on the map so i can get better at building.
(obviously not the updated map with the obscured region)

 

Sadly I don't think you are allowed to do that, not too sure, heard that a few times already

 

Nothing would work in vanilla, as Wynn works with plugins. There is no download for the map, and downloading it with mods will result in a ban.

 

I'm pretty sure you can ask mods for it, but you can only use it for renders

 

Moderators can't provide map download. They can however give you permission to download a single section of the map

 

As others mentioned above, the server doesn't provide a world download, for many good reasons. If you really want to get better at building, I'd recommend you watch some of server head builder Grian's videos. He has done building tutorials and lessons on some styles and stuff you see around the map, plus a bunch of other tips n tricks, decoration, etc.

It's prohibited because people have tried to claim it as their own work. It's a bannable offense if you get a hold of it without permission or for personal servers, merchandise, etc.

 

Also because you can use too find secret parts of the map

We don't allow downloading of the map at all. If you ask us for permission we sometimes let people use the replay mod for stuff like videos.

So, basically, it is very difficult for us to catch people who download the map, and we'd appreciate if you didn't.

Also, I am not sure if it was a rule that was in the rules section, but there you go. And, as has been pointed out, you can ask for special permission.

 

I still saw quite a few people or servers claiming builds as their own and getting away with it. Also I think it's illegal to say the exact server addresses of other servers so I won't call out any.

 

It'd be nice if you could provide a moderator with those server names, like for example @JuicedBananas who commented earlier, or @Pretzule .

We can't do a lot about it so it's best to just ignore them as to not give them any attention.

If it is Wynncraft property and with that i mean that it is copyrighted, and you can prove that they copied it, can't you guys sue them?

 

I'm not sure you can copyright a Minecraft map, even if you could the map is always changing
