Loot Runs

At what level should I do loot runs? I know that it depends on what I want to get but is level 100 the best to get mythics?

best level imo to loot is level 95, covering the range of mythics from 91-99

 

As stated above, Loot runs are most effective as higher levels, such as at Level 80, (Thanos)

And also level 90-99 (Rodoroc Region)



Of course using small amounts of logic, (none actually) any level can loot run.
Ragni has lots of loot chests around, but of course they are no where near as good as the higher level ones.


Using your example; (A mythic):

You would want to figure out the level of the mythic that you wanted to find, or any other item. It doesn't have to be a mythic.
So you want a mythic, that mythic being... let's say Az.
Az is a level 74 bow.

So, to find a level 74 item, you would search in a level 74 region.
That region being Cinfras.

Thanks a lot, Ahmsord is a level 100 area that explains why I have not been getting mythics there.

 

So for level 96 weapons (mythics) I need to go to a spot around level 96 and be around the same level? Or do I have a higher chance of getting it at level 100?

 

It depends on the level of the mobs, and most mobs in sky islands are lvl 97-98.

If the mobs were lvl 100 you'd still get 96+ mythics. It's either you haven't really loot run much or you're unlucky.

EDIT: seeing as you only have 3.5k chests looted and 98k mobs killed, you simply haven't grinded enough for mythics. There's people with 15k+ chests and no mythics out there.
