How Do You Pronounce Almuj?

Title says it all. How do you even pronounce Almuj?

Really? I've always been saying al-muh-j

 

Tbh, I pronounce it as Al-Muh-Joo, but I decided to ask that question because I didn't really see a joo sound in that word.

The first bit is pretty standard for English native speakers: Al-moo-

Then, I think it's a bit different. The J-sound differs from person to person.

Try to say "Jaguar" or "Jeep". The way you, personally, express the J-sound in the word, should be the same for the ending of the pronounciation of Almuj.

It's basically depending on if you say a "clean" J or a J mixed with a sound from the letter D, if that makes any sense. There's also a possibility that you pronounce the J in a very different way.

So, it's basically Al-moo-j. Of course, everyone has their own way of pronouncing that as well, as I showed in an example above.

 

I pronounce the J the French way, it sounds much better at the end of a word. Anyway, there are far more difficult pronunciation debates to be had. I'd like to hear how people pronounce Thesead. I'm probably the only one who says 'TE-say-ad', but still, is it 'the-SEED', 'the-SEE-ad', or something else? 'Th' as in 'them' or as in 'theatre'?

Also is Llevigar meant to be pronounced with a Welsh double L? 'Aldoray', 'Aldorye' or 'Aldoree'? This is what happens when you just name things after random anagrams.

I've always pronounced Thesead as "the-SEE-ad" with the "the" at the beginning being pronounced like the "the" in theatre (or theater).

I've heard Llevigar pronounced in 2 ways: The first with a singular l-like sound in English at the beginning and the second as the double L in Spanish where it would be pronounced as the English letter "y."

I've pronounced Aldorei as "al-door-ay/ee." I find the former nicer to say (as in, it sounds nicer to me) but I pronounced it as the latter before hearing someone say the former.

I'd also like to bring up Nesaak. Do you pronounce the double "a" as two a's (ah-ah or ay-ay), one long "a" (ay or ah) or a short "a" (ay or ah, but not to be confused with short/long vowels which are in the parentheses)? For that matter, do you pronounce the "a" as long or short (vowels)? I pronounce it short (ah) because there is no "e" at the end of Nesaak. However, I pronounce the "o" in Eltom as long (oh instead of ah) despite there being no "e" at the end.
