    But my own preferences go-
    Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop? (Weapon Shop simulator)
    Bastion/Transistor (Turn based rpg, pretty cheap)
    Icey (Hack and Slash with a great soundtrack, $11)
    Rimworld/Stonehearth (Expensive simulation games)
    Slime Rancher/Stardew Valley (SR is $20, SDV is $15. Good value for a farming simulator)
    Starbound/Terraria (Relatively Cheap, alternative to MC)

    Cheap tends to be whatever's on sale. So, I'd recommend Crypt of the Necrodancer in terms of cheap.


    Otherwise, yeah, I'd go Starbound/Terraria.

    GoNNER. It's 10 bucks on the switch, dunno how much on stems but I would guess cheaper.

    It's a mostly linear 2D platformer, but it's more centured about guns and killing enemies, but it also has some rogue-like elements.

    Also I think theres something about the artstyle, Idunno but the studio (or rather 3-man (or woman, pls don't kill meh) group) who developed it is called "art in heart" so... yea.

    At least check it out, might not be your cup of tea because it is really difficoult and has quite a bit of glitches but if you don't like it yu can always get refunds.
