A Time To Remember The Abandoned Gavel Quests.

As you all know, Gavel was released on the 20th/21st of December, 2015.

And that was true. But what about the scrapped quests? Two Towers was one of them, and there's many more rumored, with evidence in the map to prove it.

Two Towers

Two Towers is a scrapped Gavel quest. We found out about it when the helmets "Bloodlust" and "Helmet of Destruction" were accidentally leaked on WynnApps. afaik
Grian has also half-acknowledged the existence of the quest, in his Gavel livestream (iirc). He said something about the quests fitting the landscape & environment, and used the Two Towers as an example, with the fiery village in the Cinfras County.

Unknown Dogovi Quest

We're gonna name this Dogovi1 to make it easier. It is NOT common knowledge that there is a shop in Dogovi, as well as an unfinished secret. Olestri's shop, which used to have self-destructing electric sparks inside, has remained mysterious and untouched since the launch of Gavel. If you go up the stairs towards The Terrace, you will find some lamposts. When a certain pressure plate has been triggered, the lights will turn from glowstone to beacons, and lead the path to.... nothing! Will the quest ever be finished, or the mystery of the lamposts?

I really hope that Dogovi puzzle is finished, it was one of my first and also one of my most infamous experiences in Wynn. Fuck that puzzle

Don't forget Worm Holes, the Realm of Light, and that one with Dullavan. They still haven't touched those dungeons since the release of Gavel and at this point they are so forgotten that their dungeons should be scrapped entirely.

Triggering the preasure plate

-> Stone preasure plate will be appeared under beacon

-> If you press it, another redstone ramp become beacon, and another stone preasure plate will be appeared under it

-> (You need 2 people) Press the new one while pressing the previous one.

-> Rainbow trail appears (Same as the quest 'Taproot')

There was a scrapped quest with a boss that was stacked blocks and another scrapped quest where you watch ragar battle someone

I am offended by this thread. I am not considered to be "good enough" to give you guys information...
...but I'll be nice anyways even though you ignored me.

The Gavel Trailer showed a few things that have to do with MSL and other dungeons, but were never fully completed. They might be re-implemented in the future as a form of a multiple player boss fight, but that time is unknown (like most things). Some of these dungeons are the Grootslang Dungeon, the Dullavan Mansion/Castle, the Colossus outside Kandon-Beda, and the Orphion boss fight at the end of RoL. It is presumed that the Grootslang Dungeon involved the large blocky snake-like creature seen in the trailer.

The Two Towers was a scrapped quest that didn't meet quality standards, so it was not included in the final release. However, the area in which the quest would take place still exists in the form of two ruined towers and several flaming craters in a village.

There also was a quest planned for the Molten Heights, possibly including the locked shop (though I don't know about this since I never saw the quest). It was supposed to be for the MH storyline, but again, because of quality reasons it was scrapped. MH quests are planned for the future, but again, we do not know when.

I won't say anymore since some things may be considered too much of a "spoiler" for any future content. Hopefully one day we can add these things into the game.

They didn't include me, and I thought people knew me! Alas, to my surprise, I am here on and forth not considered a well known adventurer.

But it's nothing to be sad about. They just named a few that came to mind whilst writing the thread. Don't worry, your time will come ;D

Edit: (Lol, Spring edited the thread a bit. I didn't mean to actually ask for my name to be there, but sure, hahah)

 

The Cinfras citizen and the Guardian of the Forest also mention the Two Towers (after the gameplay update I believe), so the quest might be reworked in the future soontm.

 

no that just means its in the storyline and did indeed happen.
