Mesa Lifts

I did the Canyon Condor quest, from Rymek.

It says now I have access to the lifts in the mesa.

When I talk to the Lift Mechanic, he says "Nice to see you, chief! Enter the lift when you're ready."

I walked into it, and it didn't do anything.

Why?

lol its probably something super obvious, and I just can't seem to figure it out. Could someone please point out what I'm missing?

 

I think at least one of the lifts is broken. Most of them work, but I believe on my latest class I had the same issue as you. Try using another lift and it should work.

 

It's either that, or you're not stepping on the pressure plate.

 

There is no pressure plate..? I'm pretty sure I didn't see one.

 

In the very middle of the lift there should be a pressure plate. It might blend in well with the floor of the lift.

 

There's only 9 blocks on the floor. Couldn't be that hard to find. I stepped all over it. xP

 

Well, then try another lift. That one might be broken.

 

Yes, one of the CMDs just fixed one of the broken ones. That (hopefully) was your problem. Should be fixed in the next map push.
