I suppose but they also remove the possibility of being lynched if they prove true. Saving one's own hide is double-edged here. Not to mention this is a team game.

Additionally time is a factor that pushes against the town, we want to kill all the scum ASAP, because our deaths are inevitable otherwise.

Also, claiming 1-shot BP early was a really good choice for @GeneralCobra19 as well since:

• It lessens the number of people you have to narrow down for a lynch.
• If the Mafia shoot him, we pretty much get back our lost Lynch, since he survives and we are back to an odd number.
• It also is an insight to the activity level and behavior of the Mafia if they try to kill him.

I should also mention that by reducing the number of scum, they reduce the time to a Mafia win (when we can't lynch due to Mafia having the same number of people as the town), MyLo, and LyLo.

I somehow think the other mafia game will have wynnexcav as mafia but hey let's get back on track.
Since Gigavern agrees with me the most I'll analyze him: it looks kinda odd to see someone agree with me too much. Town would point out the flaws in my reasoning, but scum would just bandwagon. He may be town, or scum, but I'll reread.

Yes. However, bandwagoning is NOT when people give evidence; it is when they mindlessly follow someone else's reasoning, or take exactly the same thing as their own. It's just blindly following another.

Nah, some people get endgamed; like one town against two scum. But this looks slightly pushy: yes we should kill the scum asap, but it looks like you are advocating for a policy lynch at the moment, when everyone's newbs.

Question: how is it an insight to the activity level? How would we know if say, one scum is active and the other isnt'? Also, this looks like you are trying to support me, the clear town, like crazy. However, this isn't enough to be termed a bandwagon, as you provide your own evidence. And you've also been supporting my conf-townness.

Overall, I'd think Gigavern is pretty towny at the moment, but my scum ping radar is going off like crazy. However, it could just be that he trusts conf-town more, and I'd rate him a 5/10.

I'd say lynching Original_Potato or Pokextreme is a good way to go, as they are both active, contributing nothing, and look scummy. Original_potato is too hyped for a lynch, and is a newbtown if he is town. Pokextreme is lesss scummy, but doesn't post as much.

Hmm, I don't really have anything to refute that. I just figured that we were ready because of our rate of progression in finding suspects. (This is my first game of forum Mafia, so I've just been picking up things based on the AoPS Guide and what we have gon through so far.

Well it is a strong risk that needs thorough calculation, so it requires significantly more activity. Some of such activity would be ascertaining information by interacting with the confirmed town, you. So naturally visible activity (by ascertaining information) would be measurable (to an extent). Even if only one Mafia member is being highly active, we would be able to to nail that member. We should probably only lynch once based on that however.

Original_Potato or Josh_Legacy seem both either scummy and newbish. His blatant bandwagon on my opinion, after we already said that bandwagoning is scummy, is scummy. The only plausible reason: he wants to side with me. Actually, any town in their right mind would find at least SOME things wrong with it, and he doesn't even give reasoning why my statement is true, like Gigavern.
