How To Kill Corrupter Of Worlds????

Hello, for the past hour I've tried to kill the fucking impossible boss with my level 68 mage. How do I kill this boss? I only managed to get him down to around half hp until he kills me.

Not really
Just get good armor and an air wand

 

My problem is that my mana runs out before I can freeze his movements. I tried mana potions too, doesn't cut it.
My armor is pretty much the best you can get at my level.

Get an air AND fire based weapon. Damage guaranteed. Ice snake immediatly. bring health potions, so you dont need to use mana for heal. keep your mana always abive 6. This way if he cathces you, you have mana to teleport. Use skill points for intelligence, Strength and defense (intelligence most) and care about health and speed on your armor, defenses do not count, he deals neutral damage. Method my friend used as mage: Ice snake meteor. Stay still, just before getting hit, teleport. Repeat. Also bring agility potions so you can get away from him and regen at the same time. These potions can be gotten from nesaak with 3 EB Remeber that he regenerates his health ONLY when you hit him. His regen has a cooldown of about a minute. Use this time to deal more damage than his regeneration, so you will get past it. Also binging inteligence potions is a good idea. you should have 2 weapons. one with mana steal and regen so you get more mana. use this weapon on his corrupter spawn. One dealing your most damage via fire and air. If you want bring a horse so he cant catch you while you ride and regen health and mana. DONT PANIC if he catches you, a very useful technique i learned from the forums :D

 

i lvl'd up to 70 because thats when the armour get REALLY GOOD(im still using lvl 70 armour at lvl 84) then just spam ice snake

Even if your armor is all very strong individually, it likely does not have have any synergy, making it worthless for achieving end results.

Care to tell your armor?

Air builds are the most effective. Use air builds, but pack heal potions so you don't have to waste mana on heals. If you reallu need to, bring stat potions and buff your agility. Don't forget to bring mana potions because as you said, you kept running out of mana. If all else fails, ask friends.

Btw mana potions are not really useful, take skill points from dexterity and strength, put on defense agility and most importantly, Intelligence. Use montefiore ot gives great health regen.

It's best to specialize honestly. As a Mage I'd recommend going Fire to not only have good defense to withstand his attacks but also to increase the damage you deal against him with Meteor.

Yes, this. Health potions are useful here for any and all classes.

Also so you can sprint if need be.

Not needed; any skill layout can beat him. I beat him going water/thunder, earth/air, and fire/thunder.

You can buy them at Troms as well, for greater effect(and also greater price).

This is incorrect. ALL mobs regenerate once every 10 seconds. The health bar just doesn't visually update unless you hit him.

Intelligence potions, sure. Two weapons? Again, not necessary.

Never heard of that tactic before; it'd have to be a pretty fast horse.

This is one of the best pieces of advice you can have.

Also, even if you're low on mana, use your melee attack on him. It might not be very strong but it's -some- damage, and it also has good knockback, meaning you'll keep him at bay for longer.

Horse circling only works well if you have significant enough HP regen. It isn't quite helpful for mana. Its only helpful for player regen, since getting hit resets player regen.
