Items Missing?

Hi, uh so i was online (in Nodguj) and the server restarted (server 3) so i was sent to a lobby. The problem was when i re-joined to a new server, that's when i realized over 50% of my inventory was missing. My 26 emerald blocks were depleted to 1 aswell as my emeralds, all my armour and accessories gone, except for my chestplate (Mummy's Rag) i'm guessing because it's a quest item maybe it's bound in a different way? My weapon (Flawless Andesite Spear) was reset back to the default lvl 1 Oak Wood Spear and out of my four potions i was lucky enough to be left with 2. I don't know what could've caused this, but i please ask for some member of staff or anyone to explain what has happened and if there is anyway to fix this. (I've scrolled back in chat and there are no reports of me dying repetitively and losing these items)

 

You definitely died a bunch of times

 

Checked, when you die it appears in chat and there was nothing.

 

I don't believe there's any existing glitch in Wynncraft that can cause this issue. If there is, you'd probably be the first. It's that unlikely. Based on the given information that you've reset back to an Oak Wood Spear (particularly if the Oak Wood Spear is untradable), that you've lost all of your other equipment, and that you've lost a lot of emeralds, you likely have died a lot. The Mummy's Rag did not drop due to its Untradable tag.

You may have been low on Soul Points and died just before the server restart, unable to see your death both immediately on-screen and in-chat due to a large spike in framerate and server-related lag, preventing you from seeing your death and preventing the server from delivering the message in time. This is, however, a mostly unsupported guess, as I haven't heard of this kind of situation before.

On regaining your lost items, keep in mind that staff members do not return lost items for any reason, unless they are related to a purchase from the store. However, this does not prevent you from regaining your items in a normal way; try asking community members in a polite way for replacements, or use any spare emeralds you may still have in your bank to purchase some equipment from a merchant.

 

You cant drop untradable items if you die

Thanks for your reply, but I had 12 soul points previous to this phenomenon which only allows for around 30% of junk items to drop

I have been poking around the forums looking for posts similar to mine and the staff always replies with the "Wynncraft no returns policy", i'm guessing this'll apply to my situation aswell. At this point I just want to figure out what happened at least.

 

Was your inventory full? If it was maybe the reason you lost armor was the skill point glitch.
And I know another possible reason, I can't explain it that well so let me get a post by @XavierEXE which explains it fairly well.

Found it, I couldn't quote him as the thread was closed so I copied his explenation

Sometimes, when the server lags, a client side inventory error will occur which makes items appear to replace themselves with other items. The bonemeal was there the whole time, but it didn't appear until you "got" the emerald blocks, and the game either didn't register your inventory was full and dropped them on the ground because of this, or it got a stacking error with emeralds that were already in your inventory. It's just minecraft being minecraft :/
