Extreme Lag Spike & Freeze With A Pretty Good Connection And Pc

Hi, I've been experiencing TONS of freezes and lag spikes ever since I started playing wynncraft.

The screen would just freeze for like 5+ seconds and I can't do anything about it.

I also experienced tons of lag-death because of this, and the underworld dungeon is unbeatable for me alone.

My PC Spec:
Processor: AMD Vishera 6 core 3.6 GHz
Ram: 32 GB DDR3, 16GB allocated to minecraft
VGA: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB
Storage: Sandisk Ultra II 256GB SSD

my internet connection is not that bad, I got 3 Megabyte (25 Megabit) ish up/down

I can watch Youtube 1440p60fps no problem, and also stream games to Youtube/twitch 720p60fps just fine too.

I also play other online games just fine, even in North america server. (My location is in South East Asia)

I need help, I really want to play without this freezes.

Ive been having this problem too but i thought it was just me. Idk how to fix

 

try just relogging your minecraft. it usually works for me.

 

It doesn't work for me, I restarted minecraft, restarted my pc, and even restarting my modem, I still got the lag spike :c

 

Maybe you live far away from the host

 

It doesn't explain the freeze thought...

You could try to switch mc version (the server support from 1.8 to 1.11) or maybe change the ip adress your using (here are some you could try: node5.wynncraft.net , play.wynncraft.net , play.wynncraft.com , build.wynncraft.net , ...)

Are you using any Modifications to Minecraft?

 

minecraft maybe dont look like but it requires a LOT of memory,every map/skin/mod its a lot of memory so its better to have a better PC

 

get 5zig and when it asks if you wanna install other mods, throw optifine in there. They are both good at reducing lag

No it doesnt, you probably use a Pentium processor if you think that.

I have 2.6 GHz and 8 gigs of ram and I barely get lag

-> oh yeah, and an intel HD graphics card which is not HD at all.
Also, even if minecraft used an unexpected amount of memory, there is no way it would be too much if you have 1060 gigs of video ram and 16 gigs of ram in general.




As for you, my child, close any programs that are not required while you play. Sometimes I have like 50 chrome tabs on which east my ram
