A Saddening But Funny Story

Well, I really hate Wynncraft's fall damage mechanics right now.

Why?

Let me tell you...

I just reached level 30 as a mage. Great! I'll go do Craftmas Chaos! This'll be fun! I hop aboard the V.S.S. Seaskipper to Selchar, where I talk to Tom. He tells me to go talk to Santa on Christmas Island. Okay, I'll just buy a boat pass, and... oh. No boat pass to there. Not even to mage island, which is relatively close to it. No worry! I'll hop aboard my trusty boat!

Well, it turns out there's a bug with boats in which you slowly sink to the ocean floor that might be caused by the Wynncraft Enhanced Modpack. Call me an idiot if I'm wrong about this, I'm a noob. No worry, I thought to myself. I'm a mage! I can teleport!

After 10 minutes of teleporting from Selchar to Christmas Island, I finally arrive. 'The shops look dope', I thought to myself. 'I'll come back when I have the money to buy that stuff.' I start trekking up the path to Santa's House. At the top, I enter the house and look down the long candy cane pipe.

I jump.

I held W by accident.

I missed the water and landed on a block.

I died from fall damage.

AND SPAWNED ALL THE WAY BACK AT SELCHAR.

I almost punched a hole in my monitor.

But hey, at the end of the day, I get a story to share and knowledge about fall damage. Yaaaay.

What do you think ocean felt like for assassins pre seaskipper if are on some random island crashed your boat and realised that there is no boat merchant there ._______. Not fun you know ;-;

 

Dude 5 hours of my playtime on Assasain was me trying to find places in the ocean
(This was before I knew about the map and shit, I was new) so I came to absolutely hate ocean quests. :c

 

By the way, there's a Mage Island pass at Nemract, just not at Selchar.
