Guide Horse's Breeding Prices

I sold my 40/40 white horse for 5 legendaries and 2 rares. Don't even ask what I was thinking and why i didn't friend them so i could get a refund

Well, since the VIP town is removed now, what would be the market price of Black, Chestnut, and White horses?
Honestly I think it was stupid white horses being 70 LE even though it costs 120 to get to it...

 

The market price should be the breeding price plus some extra le.
The actual market price is 2-3le per black 16-20le per chestnut and whites are kinda random

What I have seen on the forums is about 70 to 90 LE. But in game auctions via shouts can go up to 140 and more (yes I have seen such...)!
In my eyes it is better to have a chestnut. They nearly are as fast as white ones and their price is just a fraction of white horses costs.
There may be the need to change the mechanics a little in the future. Till then white horses are more a status symbol than really superior traveling possibilities.

I just realized that we have to add horse speeds to the wiki. Did anyone ever record speeds?
I can do Brown, Black and Chestnut. We should find a good path then and measure distance and time.
Can anyone help me with a white?

 

Whites are way faster than chestnuts, a 40/40 isn't twice as fast as a 20/20, its faster. If you see anything else you are lagging

 

I sometimes had one on a white horse riding next to me. It did not seem to be much faster than my chestnut horse.
But since we do not know the real values we can talk about it with no result. So it would be good to get the data. We will see then ;)

The best we can get would be the data that was programmed in the plugin or we measure it by ourselves every level.

For measuring it by ourselves I chose the river in Almuj-Dessert where we have 500 meters in a straight line without obstacles.
That should be enough for getting good results.

 

Jumla was online on wednesday - he might just be busy.
If we create a conversation with him (or I reactivate the conversation I had with him) we might get his attention better.
What do you think? Is this too pushy?

Honestly, I would really appreciate the data on speed growth per level. Would make it a bit more clear whether attempting to get that high is even worth it (although I get around pretty well with my speed boost from Escape). Although that may belong in a different thread, since this one is mainly based on breeding price.

 

we don't know much about the speed growth (we are trying to contact jumla)
I do know the speed growth is logarithmic so a 40/40 is more than twice as fast as a 20/20

Fair enough. I could help out with an experimental attempt to figure it out, although I only have Browns at the moment.

 

The problem with testing is that server side lag and client side lag do effect the speed
