Soul Signal - Helps with raw spell dmg, intelligence

Dark Channeler - Gives mana regen and steal, and both raw and percent spell dmg
Crystal - Gives agility and intelligence, mana regen, and a little walk speed and reflection

Boots
***Memento - Memento is ideal for this build with lots of spell dmg and mana regen

Rings
Moon Pool Circlet - Contributes to mana regen and intelligence
Concentration- If you can manage to get an old one you get lots of mana regen
2x Black Catalyst - If you cannot get the other two, these together give spell dmg and mana regen

Bracelets
Tidal - Gives intelligence, mana regen and water dmg
Squid - Gives mana regen and water dmg

Necklace
Royal Stormy Amulet - Gives intelligence, mana regen and water dmg

Weapons (No Mythics)
Ethereal - Gives intelligence, spell dmg, water dmg and mana regen

Dark theme friendly pl0x, also too much mr, you dont need more than 8/4 mr on mage with 129 intel. Mana can make you spam a lot, but you can trade mana for spell damage, some elemental def, and hp, which is an amazing tradeoff considering you dont need this amount of mana regen, this build is kinda glassy overall, and pretty much dies to any thunder damage received.

 

Any suggestions on what I could substitute/add?

 

This is a build
USE morph Stardust (max 2/4)
Nii plate (less Intel reqs and more tankiness, 3/4)
Dark channeler (2/4 max, spell dam and thunder def)
Memento (4/4 spell damage)
Thats max 11/4 mana regen, overkill switch plate for soul Signal

For the accesories use
2 diamond Fusion rings (hp, dmg, def)
Morph amethyst (skill points)
Gigabyte (hp, skillpoints, other ids
Weapon? Hive wand with T6 water powders

 

tbh, soul signal doesn't do much on mage, since raw spell > % spell (on mage), and it fucks up your earth def. This build has some great def, however not the best. I strongly suggest you use tanky items with % spell, like for example paradox + stardust combo, both have mr and % sd, since you dont have much dmg on your build

 

You just said that soul signal is bad on mage cuz raw spell is better than % I dont get your logic

 

Meteor works better with %sd than raw spell. Soul signal doesnt have %sd, thats what the item guide Im using tells me idk if its wrong

Hmm, as far as I know raw sd only increases neutral dmg, and % affects all incoming damage, correct me if I'm wrong.

I really dont know the damage equation for spells, but I think on element builds, like this one, %sd will have a better impact on the damage given, because of skill point mutiplier.

For neutral builds, yes your point makes perfect sense, thank you for correcting me.

Now if all I said here is bs and wrong please correct me, Im not very experienced with damage equations.

 

soul signal adds 1.3k dmg per meteor (325*400%), and neutral is better overall if you want to do stuff like li or qira

 

Neutral =/= raw, raw is not blocked by the defense stat whereas neutral is. Hence why it is far more useful due to its ability to dmg heavy tank-like players with high defense and element defense. However it is still affected by Agility so there is that.

 

stillwater and nii plate are better chestplates as this build already has enough mana regen
optimal bracelet is progno from corrupted underworld crypt

 

U could use Requiem instead of Ethereal
