The Destiny 2 Hype Train

Before you post "destiny sucks" or "is it all DLC" or something, WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO. Trust me, the 1 hour is worth it.



Anyways, Destiny 2 is finally coming! It's super exciting for me, as a long time destiny player, to see this upgrade to a great, underrated game.

In case you didn't bother to watch the video, I compiled a list of exciting things that are coming in D2.

Spoiler: Destiny 2 New Things

- New story. The City and the Traveller have been taken by Gaul, king of the Red Legion, to create his own guardians and stop the Darkness. We fail to protect the city and must rebuild civilization in the European Dead Zone. (EDZ) We must find Zavala, Cayde and Ikora, who have disappeared and scattered across Io, Nessis and Titan, the new planets in the game.

- GRENADE LAUNCHERS. YES.

- New inventory system that allows for more customization, meaning you might be able to have a pulse as your secondary and scout as a primary.

- The game is more open world, with different towns you can visit.

- NO MORE CITY. Everything has been destroyed and our Light is gone.

- New Cabal-based Raid

- New Strike: The Inverted Spire, based around the Vex

- New planets, including Nessis, which is a planet transformed by the Vex.

- Crucible has been revamped. All modes are now 4v4, and a new mode, Countdown, has been released. (It's like Attack/Defend from TF2 and Control Point in Overwatch.)

-New treasures and hidden sectors to explore.

- Adventures are new side quests given to you by NPCs in the new towns throughout the planets.

- A map system is now in the game, letting you get around easier.

- It's easier to get raids now without external LFGs. The Guided Game system allows clans to Sherpa for some players (Such as if a clan needs 1 more player and a solo player wants to play a raid, they can use Guided Games to find a new player)

- Clans are now in game and not on Bungie's website. You can join a clan in the game and even make your own. Clans have clan banners too, to represent their clan.

- The first mission, "Homecoming", has YOU face to face with the RedLegion trying to protect the tower from attack.

- You actually see NPCs in action now. Zavala and Ikora appear in the first mission.

- Something for anyone, solo, competitive or cooperative.

What do you think? I'm sure hyped for the new game, despite the first one being bad without DLCs.
