What is a Mythic?..

 

Congratulations. This should be a profile post tho.

 

"Mythics" don't actually exist. And when they do, they cross into our plane of existence through the art of dark magic. Every one of these world-ending weapons appears to certain people at completely random times, and their origins and lore express the evil within them.

Congratulations for somehow defying logic and breaking this wall to find this bow. Now, with its power, you can separate your mind, body, and soul and kill everything in the world without the feeling of any sort of remorse or sin.

Even so, you trade in the evil weapon's power for greed, which is a sin as well. Not only that, but "mythics" are the ultimate entity in Wynn's economy, and simply selling one (except Pure) will make you rich instantly. And we all know the fate of someone who has acquired a ton of money...they either spend it all or become part of the economy itself.

There's no escaping its evil. Once it has found you, there's no turning back. You can sell it, but the weapon is still bound to you, whether it be its power or its worth.

 

Or you sell it to the item buyer, or you throw it in trash/lava/fire. :D

 

That's possible, but the weapon's sheer presence tends to sway players to keep it for its wealth on the player market. Trust me, I would have done the same thing myself, but just the thought of it somehow existing...I didn't have the will to destroy it.

It manipulates our minds so only the truly insane would vanquish the weapon out of existence through the means of fire, hoppers, or the Item Buyer. If you ever had one find you, you would know what I mean by this.

 

So is this official lore or...?

This isn't "official lore", it's just weird stuff I made up in my head using the current circumstances, lore, and characteristics of "mythics". It's my own personal theory, but it's not actually the true lore behind these weapons.

When you think about it, "mythics" always seem to find you randomly, the lore on them shows its godlike and potentially cataclysmic power, and the greed aspect implies if a person sells one for several stacks of LE.
